If the answer is yes, we have a great January resolution for you!
It might not be news to you that we consume way too much stuff, and have been for a long time, but do you know that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea then fish? This already is dramatically altering the sea as well as bird life. With more than 90 percent of the world's plastic going unrecycled, garbage islands the size of Mexico are filling up our world’s oceans. And that is just the plastic that has not sunk to the bottom. This doesn´t only lead to birds and sea life filling their stomachs’ with plastic and dying from hunger, but it is contributing to places such as the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to die. Our kids may never know what a natural coral reef is! Want to do something about it?
We have gathered some simple and more heavy dudy tips for a plastic free January below. On our FaceBook page
you can get and share tips as well as your experiences with the crowd. Quick note is that many of these plastic free alternatives are also money savers.
